Good news, Lyn - I`m pleased the antibiotics have done the trick and you are on the mend. I agree with you about staying off the MTX a bit longer - I`d have done the same in your shoes.

Take care,

Although we are all very different I am feling much better overall without MTX. I'm sure the hydroxy has kicked in as my blood levels are all more or less back to normal and I am walking more freely. I think we all know our own bodies best . Are you still planning to come to Leicester? Sure hope so.

I'm pleased to hear you're feeling a lot better, I bet you feel so relieved! I think I would be wary, too, of restarting MTX so soon.

Indeed I am! Have reorganised a school event so just need to sort out whether it's going to be Friday night or Saturday night too! Problem is if I only come for one night I'll probably be gutted to have to leave you all late Saturday afternoon, but I'll need to organise things at home if I'm 'absent' all weekend! Difficult with all these kids; even though they're teenagers, being boys they, like their Dad, are not a whole lot of use when left alone for more than a few hours!!! RollEyes

Thanks again for all your thoughtful posts everyone.
